上週好友Christine到紐約出差一起吃飯,意外的發現這間非常有名的Momofuku拉麵。(感謝美食通的客人分享!)


創店廚師David Chang頗有名氣,在紐約有數間Asian Fusion系列餐廳:Momofuku Noodle Bar, Ssäm Bar, Ko, Milk Bar。David Chang 致力於研究亞洲口味,拉麵及豬肉的烹調。提到Momofuku大家都想到有名的豬肉掛包!除了餐廳之外,Momofuku還有出版美食介紹書。

店內的陳設和燈光相當西式,這間Asian fusion的拉麵屋吸引許多愛好亞洲食物的白人。
首先上的是必點的豬肉掛包 $10/2 pcs

這個豬肉掛包真的非~常~好~吃!!肉質鮮美入口即化,雖然是帶有油脂的五花肉,配上爽口的小黃瓜及青蔥,佐以日式海鮮醬,一點也不油膩!

今天點的拉麵是Momofuku Ramen $16 

切絲的豬肩膀肉 

豬肉包含豬五花肉及切絲的肩膀肉,配料有青蔥,高麗菜,魚板及海苔。特別的是目前還沒吃過的溫泉蛋!這裡的醬油湯底較鹹,麵體則是軟硬適中。

店內除了拉麵料理外,還售有咖哩飯,炸雞等副屬料理。炸雞也是這裡的招牌菜,要事先預約才能吃得到,當天問了店員是否能現場點,結果因為當日備料有限就沒吃到...
後來和朋友提起這間店,聽朋友說這裡的冷麵也相當有名,下次有機會再來嘗試!

Momofuku出版的美食介紹,食譜及雜誌,在店裡也有販售 
整體來說有四顆星,再回店的話掛包一定是必點,不過應該會嘗試看看有名的冷麵。
下回到東村逛街時,記得到這間紐約名店嚐嚐!
